WASHINGTON D.C.—The Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus recently named Congressman Jeff Duncan as a Vice-Chair for the 114th Congress. For 26 years the Caucus, along with the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation have championed the protection and advancement of the interests of sportsmen through wildlife conservation policies that benefit hunting, angling, recreational shooting, and trapping.

“It is an honor and a privilege to serve as a Vice-Chair of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus for this Congress, a group I’ve been associated with long before I was ever elected to federal office. I look forward to working with my colleagues to promote the Second Amendment and the values of the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation,” said Duncan.

The group is the largest bi-partisan Caucus in Washington, where the protection of such essential rights like the 2nd Amendment is paramount to their goals for public policy. With members in Congress spanning nearly all 50 states, the Caucus represents the outdoor traditions that are enjoyed by all constituencies in the Union.

“I’ve been blessed to have grown up with the opportunity to appreciate the outdoors and to be able to pass that passion along to my boys. The people of South Carolina are proud of our sportsmen’s heritage, which is why we’re the home to groups like the National Wild Turkey Federation.”

“I’ve always said that it’s not about the hunt, it’s about the journey. I will use this position to continue to advocate on behalf of hunters, fisherman, and outdoors enthusiasts so that we will be able to share the beauty of the journey with the next generation,” stated Duncan.
