“The House of Representatives voted on two responsible budgets this week, both of which I supported. The RSC Budget, Back to Basics, would balance the budget in four years while cutting discretionary spending and adequately funding defense. I supported this plan, but unfortunately, it didn’t pass. I also supported Paul Ryan’s budget."

On March 14th, the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere held a hearing on 'U.S. Energy Security: Enhancing Partnerships with Mexico and Canada.' I participated in this hearing not only because I am a member of this committee, but also because I believe this issue should be a top priority for the US.
