Duncan Reacts to the Firing of NLRB General Counsel

Press Release

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Jeff Duncan (SC-03) released the following statement after President Joe Biden fired the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) General Counsel, Peter Robb:

“One of Joe Biden’s first acts as President was to upend agency norms and act as an extension of a radical labor union to force Peter Robb out of the NLRB. This action is extreme by every measure. The General Counsel serves a four-year term and historically completes that term even into a new Administration. This move breaks precedent at the behest of the labor unions and at the expense of the American worker. President Biden is beginning the assault on the many businesses that have decided to make places like South Carolina, a right to work state, their home. I will fight against this big labor activism and for the cherished businesses and talented workforce in the Palmetto State.”
