South Carolina Congressman Jeff Duncan achieved a major legislative victory on Wednesday afternoon after one of his bills, the Countering Iran in the Western Hemisphere Act (HR 3783), passed the full House with unanimous support.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of their families during this difficult time, along with my hope that swift and thorough justice will be carried out against those who perpetrated this heinous crime.
"As we pause to remember the 11th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we are reminded of those who perished on that day, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice while defending our freedoms during the War on Terror."
This is the 43rd month in a row that unemployment has remained above 8%, and that is unacceptable. We’ve got to create an environment that makes it easier for small businesses to create jobs.

"It begins with America pursuing energy independence, utilizing the resources that we are blessed with in this country primarily right now in the offshore areas."
“South Carolina is already a national leader in nuclear power. Developing our resources along the coast can help make South Carolina a model for an all-the-above approach to energy.”
“This asinine comment by the President of the United States clearly shows that neither he nor anyone in the administration know anything about creating jobs or running a business.”
It has become universal for politicians to express their support for an “all of the above energy policy.” Well, conservative Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) has proposed the most comprehensive free-market energy bill that takes a true all of the above approach.
“By voting for full repeal, the House has shown that we’ll continue to fight until this horrible law is completely repealed,” said Duncan. “Ultimately, the next step in the fight to repeal ObamaCare will be fought by the American people at the ballot box in November. The next step begins with making Barack Obama a one-term President.”
“No one is above the law,” Duncan said. “Brian Terry’s family and the American people have every right to know what really happened with Fast and Furious. Congress will not let up until we have all the answers.”
